American Airlines Center

is a multi-purpose arena, located in the Victory Park neighborhood, near downtown Dallas, Texas. It is home to the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA, the Dallas Stars of the NHL, and the Dallas Vigilantes of the AFL. The arena is also locally known to Mavericks fans as “The House that Dirk Built” in reference to the Dallas Mavericks star player, and to Stars fans as “The House that Mike Built” for Stars once great player, Mike Modano.
