is a multi-purpose arena in the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Opened in 1981, it is primarily used for sports, concerts and various other shows and events. It is the former home of the New Jersey Nets, the New Jersey Devils, and the Seton Hall Pirates men’s basketball team. The Devils and Seton Hall have moved to the Prudential Center in Newark, and the Nets have moved to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The only current semi regular tenant is the Fordham Rams’ Men’s basketball team; and they only play a partial schedule at the arena. The arena is now primarily used for concerts, and special shows such as the WWE, Ringling Bros. Circus and various ice and children’s shows.
Without a major professional sports team, the arena’s future is very much in doubt.
Location: 50 Route 120, East Rutherford, New Jersey 07073 Opened: 1981 Capacity: 20,049 Basketball; 19,040 Hockey; 20,000 Concerts
